‘Moving Forwards’ with Netball South West

On Sunday 14th May Netball South West welcomed members from across the region to their Moving Forwards Conference and AGM 2017 at Taunton Vale Sports Club.

NSW were joined by Fran Connolly (England Netball Head of Development), Jess Thirlby and Liz Bloor (Team Bath ??) and Pam Cookey (Severn Stars Director of Development) for updates on what the future holds for netball in the South West.

The conference also covered how competition is progressing and improving over the coming season, including changes to the Regional League, and information on Sport England’s Code for Sports Governance.

The day offered a lot of interesting information on what is to come over the next season and into the future from the perspective of England Netball and the two Super League franchises. The attendees also got an insight into Netball South West’s plans on how they plan to continue to improve and support England Netball, Team Bath and Severn Stars.
