“Hi there, my name is Theresa Robinson and I am a level 2 netball coach within Plymouth. I currently deliver netball sessions and training, to various ages and abilities including, the England Netball satellite academy, High 5 netball and Back to Netball, as well as local clubs and community satellite training sessions.
I thoroughly enjoy coaching different ages as I can make a difference across all levels and challenge myself to deliver sessions, from a fun and friendly, inclusive Back to Netball session to a structured and focused performance satellite academy session. Until March 2015, I was the Plymouth Netball Development Officer, which enabled me to deliver various netball programmes and products for England Netball. The experiences I gained from the role, has enabled me to continue delivering netball and to make a difference across the city, towards increasing participation from the grass roots and up.
Although Netball is a huge part of my life, I also have an even more rewarding job as a devoted mum to my young daughter who was born in 2013, (who I am proud to say is already able to catch and pass a ball at the age of 2 years). I also manage to fit in being a qualified part-time lifeguard too. All in all, I do love a good challenge and will happily try new things to keep things interesting.”
Netball Now is a simple way to play netball – just turn up at a session, pay a small fee and play a game of netball! It isn’t a coached session, its not a competition led by rules and the scores aren’t recorded, it really is that simple – just play netball!
If you are currently playing and want to play a bit more, you are looking for a non-committed way to play netball or want to play netball in a flexible manner without being tied to a team or league then Netball Now is for you!
Take a look at Netball Now on the England Netball website for more information on what to expect at a Netball Now session.
