U14 success at National Club Finals

After finishing 1st and 2nd in the South West U14 Regional League, Poole and Saints Rockets travelled to Birmingham University last weekend to represent the South West at the National U14 Clubs Finals.

Against extremely tough competition both teams did exceptionally well and produced some fantastic results across the two day finals.

Saints Rockets were arguably involved in the match of the finals narrowly defeating Grangetown 19-18 in an exciting, end-to-end match. They eventually finished in 9th place which is an excellent achievement!

Poole were strong throughout the tournament and produced a great performance to defeat Cliftonettes and win a close fought game against Leeds. Narrowly missing out on the final by goal average Poole beat Turnford in the third place play-off to finish 3rd overall. A fantastic result for the club and the region.

A huge well done to both Poole and Saints Rockets who have had excellent seasons and represented the South West brilliantly!
