It is with such deep regret that Crossbow Netball Club have to inform you of the sad passing of Kim Marie Sullivan.
Our bright shining star fought a very brave battle against cancer over the past three and half years but sadly slipped away peacefully in her sleep on the 2nd September.
Kim Marie was known and loved throughout the Avon and South West Regional netball community during her time on and off the court. Representing Avon at both junior and senior levels, many will remember Kim as the friendly, bubbly centre court player for Crossbow. She played the majority of her netball within the 1st team, competing for many years in the Avon league before the invitation to the Fiscal league which developed into the South West Regional league.
Crossbow was Kim Marie’s netball family. She put her heart and soul into the club, her passion and commitment was so inspirational to so many of us. She quickly grew as a talented young player into a significant role model at the club. Kim Marie fulfilled many roles over the years such as a Captain, Junior Coach, Chairperson and President. Even when she could no longer step out onto court, she would still be there to support everyone. Respected for her words of wisdom, calming nature and warm welcoming personality.
Kim Marie ‘A true legend’ for Crossbow Netball Club. Cherished by all that knew her and who will be so dearly missed.
We send our sincere condolences to Kim’s family and friends.
