Poole’s U14s are off to a solid start

Poole Netball Club U14 squad have had a strong start in division one of the Netball South West League.  Coach Hayley Peyman is delighted with their start but recognises that they still have a lot of work to do if they are to meet the aims that the team have set themselves for 2017.

The girls started playing together as juniors around the age of 10 and have progressed as a team to now sit in the top spot, unbeaten in the NSW U14 league.  All players understand that the concept of teamwork and this has been the key to all that they have achieved; it is not to do with the individual, it is about the whole team at Poole.

All of the players are committed to the competition, they have known from a young age that the Regional League, followed latterly by the Nationals, is the most prestigious Championship and the girls take their lead from their Coach, who has always been very passionate about the competition.

Ultimately, it is an amazing achievement to get to Nationals but the girls know only too well that they still have several challenges standing in their way, with two more fixture dates and a play-off final.  Everyone at Poole is behind them, hoping they take it all the way – good luck girls!
