On Sunday 10th November, Bournemouth Netball club hosted a BBC Children in Need Pudsey Games Family Netball Tournament.

Mum’s, dads, Aunties, uncles and the U14 juniors made up the 10 teams that competed in the family tournament. Well done to the Winners – Club Tropicana and the Runners Up – Fur the Love of Netball!

Throughout the day a raffle took place which included a hand knitted Pudsey which was knitted by head coach Jacqui’s 94 year old and a shooting competition all while paying their respects to the fallen and observing a 2 minute silence for Remembrance Sunday.

Hanna Butler from Bournemouth Netball Club said ‘It was so much fun and we are very proud to announce we raised over £480 for Children in Need! A huge thanks to BH Live Active, Sir David English for donating the use the courts so all the money we raised went to charity. Our shooting competition was a great success and big congratulations to Sascha who got a whopping 450 points!’

What a brilliant way to spend a Sunday morning and well done to all who took part.
