Each week we bring you a good news story from across the South West as part of our wedNEWSday articles.
At the start of the summer five clubs from the SW region submitted their (electronic) CAPS folder ahead of the final reaccreditation, as we currently know it.
Netball South West are delighted to announce that all five clubs passed so a huge congratulations to Devizes NC for achieving their bronze reaccreditation, Randwick NC, Dorset Allstars NC and Galmington NC for reaching silver and a special shout out to Cornwall based Saints NC who gained their gold reaccreditation.
Jean Davies, Head Coach from Saints NC was delighted with the news and comments:
“I am so proud of all the hard work that members of the club have done to help Saints Netball Cornwall regain its gold caps award. It takes dedication from all involved to achieve this award from England Netball. We are so fortunate to have great players, coaches, umpires and committee members. The Saints family continues to strive for excellence in all we do and it’s great to see our efforts recognised by England Netball.”
The review of CAPS should be completed by the end of the year, with the launch of a new club recognition process due in Spring 2022. England Netball will be in touch in due course but, in the meantime, a huge thank you to every club volunteer who continues to work tirelessly to ensure netball activity can continue with brilliant standards upheld.
