Each week we bring you a good news story from across the South West as part of our wedNEWSday articles.

Netball is Back and to celebrate an exciting year of netball with the Commonwealth Games and more members than ever joining England Netball, we are hosting 3 fantastic Walking Netball festivals for our wonderful family of Walking Netballers in the South West.

WHERE?

The festivals will take place at the following locations from 10am – 2pm.

• Westfield Academy, Yeovil: Sunday 2^nd October 2022
• South Devon Tennis Centre, Ivybridge: Sunday 4^th December 2022
• Dorcan Leisure Centre, Swindon: Sunday 5^th March 2023

Supported by Netball South West the festivals will provide a fabulous experience with everything organised for you so all you have to do is turn up, play and enjoy.

• Indoor Venues
• A chance to play other teams and meet new people
• Umpires provided
• Welcome Gift for every player
• In it to win it or Just for Fun sections
• Medals
• Refreshments
• First aid provision provided

The festivals will be Over 50’s focused and although younger players are welcome to join us too, there will be a limit of 2 under 50s on court in a team at any one time.

Entry Cost:

£10 per person standard rate

£9 if you have an England Netball Walking Netball Subscription

£5 if you are a member of England Netball and Netball South West

Booking closes for each Festival on the following dates:

• Yeovil: Friday 23^rd September 2022
• South Devon: Friday 25^th November 2022
• Swindon: Friday 24^th February 2023

After you have registered you will receive an email with details on how to pay by BACS and a team sheet to complete and send back to confirm your space. Please note, your team space isn’t secured until payment has been made.
