South West ONE Awards 2022

Posted July 13, 2022 by Poppy O'Reilly

Each week we bring you a good news story from across the South West as part of our wedNEWSday articles.

This year the South West ONE Awards took place on Sunday 3rd July at Taunton School, Somerset. Hosted by Claire Carter (BBC Somerset) and with 105 guests in attendance it was an afternoon full of celebration and the joys of being able to come together to recognise the incredible work that is being done across the region to keep netball alive.

Netball is in the heart of each and every one of the nominees which made it very difficult for the nomination panel to pick just one winner from each category. After much deliberation, we are thrilled to share with you the winners.

The winners of our South West ONE awards will be invited to the national event taking place towards the end of the year (Date and Venue tbc) to represent our region and be in the chance of winning a national award. All of the winner’s nominations from the 9 regional ONE award events will be reviewed by a national panel.

Good luck to those representing the South West and thank you to the nominators for taking the time to nominate. Thank you also to everyone who joined us at Taunton School on Sunday 3rd July. Here’s to next year…
