This autumn 127 Netball Clubs nationally are launching Bee Netball, England Netball’s fun and nurturing programme for 5 – 9 year olds.
Bee Netball is friendly, high energy and especially designed for children introducing them to the skills of passing, throwing, catching, and shooting.
Most importantly, Bee Netball will support every child’s personal development on and beyond the court, with a real focus on improving a child’s belief in their ability. Bee Netball is played to a unique set of ‘Beeliefs’; Bee Proud, Bee Strong, Bee Yourself, Bee Together, Bee Fair, Bee Friendly.
Specially trained Bee Netball Leader who will run the sessions. All the Bee Leaders and coaches are DBS checked and have Safeguarding training as well. Before the programme starts each child will receive a welcome pack delivered to their home, including a personalised t-shirt, an official Bee Ball and Bee Book.
Jenny Kelly from Honiton NC said “As a club we are really excited to start delivering Bee Netball sessions. Bee Netball is for everyone whether your child has played before or is just starting for the first time. We are looking forward to welcoming new children to our club and supporting their development and love for sport. It’s fantastic to be part of a nationally recognised programme.”
