How to play

If you’ve not played netball since school, not played since having had children or never played, then this is the page for you. Maybe you’ve got children and are looking for somewhere they can give it a go?

Introduction

There’s loads of places where you can have a go, all you need is a pair of trainers. You might need to remove your jewellery, tie your hair back and check out those long nails – but that’s just to keep you safe.

Ways to play

There are so many ways you can play netball, if you are aged 5 or older, we can find a session for you!

There’s also a number of informal opportunities where you can turn up and play – we call this Netball Now.

Or there’s Back to Netball, a gentle re-introduction run by passionate and enthusiastic coaches who cover the basics of the game.

There’s also Walking Netball (speaks for itself but it’s no walk in the park!). Check out a story about one of our friendly Walking Netball festivals and groups on the news page!

In the South West we are lucky enough to have all the above, fun, pay and play sessions as well as running a series of leagues, ranging from grass roots levels all the way to our Regional Leagues.

In short, if you want to play netball, we can help you!
